Continuous Improvement Analyst - Birmingham

Continuous Improvement Analyst required for a leading client based in Birmingham. My client is currently seeking a Continuous Improvement Analyst to come on board to assess, design, and implement ongoing improvement initiatives, primarily focusing on optimizing workflows and enhancing existing applications and technologies. The role emphasizes strengthening IT capabilities and delivering impactful changes that add value to both the client and its services.

You will contribute to fostering operational excellence and promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the IT department and across the organization. This includes identifying opportunities to refine technology systems and workflows, developing strategies to boost efficiency, and delivering measurable outcomes.

Key skills and responsibilities,

* Previous Continuous Improvement Analyst experience* Assisting users in documenting clear and concise requirements that can be easily translated into technical specifications.* Planning and executing testing for assigned small changes.* Developing and maintaining documentation for small changes, including process maps and standard operating procedures.* Managing the end-to-end delivery of all assigned small changes.* Acting as a bridge between business stakeholders, development teams, third parties, clients, and other relevant parties to facilitate IT change implementation.* Communicating effectively, tailoring the language to suit the audience.* Providing support to the broader IT team on tasks beyond the core role when needed, recognizing the collaborative nature of a small team striving for excellence.* Certification in Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt), or a similar methodology. * Expertise in requirements gathering, planning, and estimation. * Strong skills in project planning, business case development, and stakeholder management. * Experience in third-party supplier selection, contracting, and management.
