This position is ideal for developers with strong react js and typescript experience, who are ready to contribute to greenfield projects in a fast-paced challenging environment.
The role is predominantly home based, but you will need to be able to attend a face-to-face interview in the Midlands and travel to the office at least once a month
Day-to-day duties as Front End Developer include:- Work closely with the tech lead as part of a small, dynamic team.
- Develop high-quality front-end features and interfaces using React and TypeScript.
- Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and testing.
- Write clean, maintainable code with a focus on TDD/BDD.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Utilise version control software, such as Git, to manage code deployments and versioning.
- Proven commercial experience with React and TypeScript.
- Demonstrable passion for software development, which can be shown through personal projects or previous work experience.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively as a member of a small team.
- Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable code with an emphasis on TDD/BDD.
- Good understanding of version control software using Git.
- Familiarity with AWS/DevOps practices.
