Power BI Developer - Birmingham - £55,000

I am looking for a Power BI Developer with experience creating insightful and informative data visualisations to join a successful organisation who operate within the logistics industry. In this role you will work closely with other members of the Business Intelligence team to develop the reporting suite to aid with data-led decision making by internal stakeholders.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for some of the following areas.

  • Create custom visualisations using Power BI to deliver data to multiple business units
  • Gather reporting requirements from stakeholders, translating into technical requirements before briefing the wider team
  • Extract raw data from various data points before transforming ready for visualisations

This is a salaried role paying up to £55,000 per year depending on experience. There is also a company benefits packages which includes a company pension scheme, generous holiday allowance and many other benefits. This is a hybrid role based out of the organisations office in Birmingham, where you will be expected to work up to 3 times per week.

To be successful in this role you will have.

  • Strong SQL skills for data extraction and cleansing
  • Experience using Power BI to create data visualisations
  • Strong DAX experience
  • Experience with data modelling, SSAS and ETL would all be beneficial
