A leading and renowned conference and events venue is recruiting for a Audio Visual Technician to join their AV team to deliver world class and unforgettable events.

This is a role is crucial in supporting the day to day operations of the business infrastructure and delivery of corporate meetings/events and large scale events.

You’re responsible for preparation, installation, operating and the de-rig of the AV technology and equipment. You’ll contribute to the successful of their events by ensuring all AV needs are met efficiently and professionally and liaise with external suppliers to meet client requirements.

What you will need for this role:

  • Proven experience in audio, visual and video production for live events
  • Proficient understand and operational knowledge of audio and video systems, technology with troubleshooting and fault finding abilities
  • Flexible working hours including some evenings and weekends depending on business needs
  • Professional presentation, excellent verbal communication with external clients and various departments internally
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Have experience of managing external contractors and clients
