Field Service Engineer – Chromatography
Salary: £40k - £50k
Location: Midlands & North

With exclusive partnerships with some of the most well-known OEM’s as well as valued clients consisting of multinational pharmaceutical & Biotech companies across the UK and Europe, this would be a great opportunity for an experienced engineer to be in a senior position with broad responsibilities and further OEM training.
In this Field Service Engineer position, an engineer can expect:
- Full-service support on a range of analytical instruments including UHPLC, HPLC, GC, GC-MS, LC-MS, UV-VIS from various manufacturers
- Diagnosing and resolving issues related to product performance.
- Performing service, maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting.
- Calibrating customer equipment in accordance with specified standards.
- Proactively engage with customers to build relationships and improve service
- Providing remote technical support to customers.
- Complete accurate supporting documentation.
- OEM training and skills development.
A suitable candidate for this Chromatography service engineer position would need:
- Minimum of HNC or degree level of education In an engineering or science based discipline
- Significant experience working with Chromatography equipment in a field or labs-based role. UHPLC, HPLC, GC, GC-MS, LC-MS, UV-VIS.
- Significant experience with Gas chromatography
- Gas generator experience (desirable)
- Full UK right to work and UK driving License.
- Knowledge of labs-based software and applications
- Motivated and eager to learn.
