We are seeking an experienced MOT Centre Manager to oversee the daily operations of my clients MOT centre in Erdington, Birmingham. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in automotive management, who is capable of ensuring high standards of service and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Day-to-day of the role:- Oversee the daily operations of the MOT centre, ensuring efficient management of staff and resources.
- Ensure compliance with all MOT regulations and standards to maintain the integrity and reputation of the centre.
- Manage customer relations and handle any issues or complaints swiftly and professionally.
- Monitor and manage inventory supplies, ensuring all necessary materials are available and in good condition.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to ensure all team members are up-to-date with the latest industry standards and techniques.
- Implement and maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and professionalism throughout the centre.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase productivity and profitability of the centre.
- Prepare and review financial reports, setting budgets and controlling expenses.
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role within the automotive industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing an MOT centre or similar automotive service facility.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of MOT standards and regulations.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Proficient in using automotive management software and tools.
- Competitive salary range of £35,000 to £42,000 per annum.
