We have an opportunity for an experienced HGV Technician / mechanic to join our successful team.

Located in Aston, Birmingham. We provide top-tier maintenance and repair services for a diverse fleet of vehicles and trailers, catering for private sector contracts. This dynamic environment offers a broad exposure to various vehicle technologies and systems, presenting an ideal workplace for professional growth in vehicle maintenance.

This role will be working Days Mon- Friday / 6am 4pm (Less hours negotiable if required)

Job Summary:

As a Vehicle Technician at MJB Truck Services, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles and trailers, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.

In order for you to be successful in this role, you will work well as part of a small team, be a good communicator and have the ability to take on a variety of different workloads, planned or otherwise.

The Role

  • Complete safety inspections, service and general maintenance repairs
  • MOT preparation
  • Fault diagnosis and rectification
  • Completing job cards and service sheets accurately
  • Enthusiastic, Team Player
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications Required

  • Proven track record
  • Possess City and Guilds Level 1, 2, and 3 / NVQ in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
  • Full driving licence essential
  • Class 1 preferred but not a deal breaker

Pay: Up to £25.00 per hour plus other benefits for the right candidate
