Here at E-ppl we are leading suppliers of Managed Services within the automotive industry. Working with the main OEMs within the UK and overseas. We are a specialist contractor who OEM's call on to support their vehicle projects. This can range from carefully planned and executed launch support projects through to very reactive quality campaigns. All our projects are fully managed offering a turn-key solution to our customers.
We are looking for skilled and experienced Mechanic`s to join our team supporting our customer 24/7 at locations around the Midlands on a contract basis. The Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing faults on the customers vehicles in preparation for sale.
The main responsibilities for the successful candidates are:
- Inspecting and repairing vehicles
- Engine removal and re-fitment of engine to vehicle
- Experience of working in a workshop on passenger vehicles is required.
- Perform restorative and preventative work on gears, brakes, engine, air conditioning, security features, fuel pump, etc.
- Using diagnostic equipment.
- Replacing faulty parts.
Mechanic Requirements:
IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle repair or equivalent is essential
Proven work experience as a Mechanic minimum 3 years
Having good manual dexterity.
Being able to follow instructions.
Having good communication skills.
Having excellent knowledge about motor technology.
Being methodical and organised.
Having good concentration.
Being able to work to strict deadlines.
Having strong interest in motor vehicles.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Comprehensive selection of appropriate tooling
12 hours shifts and weekend work with overtime with premium rates
Working at various locations around the Midlands
Rate is from 16.50 per hour to 24.94
Ongoing contract paid limited company or via umbrella company - Outside of IR35
