Motor Vehicle Technician

Prestige Franchised Motor Dealership - Birmingham

Our client is seeking a talented Motor Vehicle Technician to join their high-performance team at their leading dealership in Birmingham. You will play a critical role in ensuring luxury vehicles are maintained to the highest standards, combining your technical skills with a commitment to customer service excellence.

Salary: Basic £30k OTE up to £35k

Guaranteed bonus for first 3 months

Hours: 40 hours per week, 1 in 3 Saturday mornings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake comprehensive maintenance, servicing, and repair of vehicles in line with manufacturer standards.
  • Diagnose vehicle performance issues and execute necessary repairs.
  • Replace parts, lubricants, and consumables, maintaining clear records of usage.
  • Ensure your workspace is clean, organised, and hazard-free.
  • Provide detailed reports on vehicle conditions and future service needs.

Requirements for this role:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
  • At least 2 years of experience in automotive maintenance and repair.
  • A willingness to pursue further qualifications, particularly in electric vehicle technology.
  • Full UK driving licence
