Transport Coordinator / AdministratorBirminghamUp to ££28K DOEMon- Fri 9am- 6pmAbout the Role:We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Transport Coordinator / Administrator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth running of our transport operations, supporting both internal and external stakeholders while delivering outstanding client service.The ideal candidate must have experience within a pallet network or a multi-drop transport environment and be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting. You will play a key role in coordinating deliveries, liaising with drivers, monitoring performance, and ensuring all administrative tasks are completed efficiently.Key Responsibilities:" Act as the first point of contact for clients, partners, and drivers, handling queries via telephone, email, and Nexus messaging." Liaise with internal departments, including warehouse teams, customer service, and drivers, to ensure seamless operations." Accurately update transport management systems and reports in a timely manner." Carry out general administrative duties and provide support to the wider transport team." Monitor and track driver performance using system tools, identifying areas for improvement." Driver management & debriefing, ensuring any actions required are followed up effectively." Book in customer deliveries, coordinating schedules to maintain efficiency and customer satisfaction.Essential Skills & Experience:" Previous experience in a pallet network or multi-drop transport setting is essential" Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload in a busy environment." Excellent verbal and written communication skills." A team player who thrives in a fast-moving and dynamic workplace." High level of attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines."
