The Order Picker role involves selecting and preparing orders for shipment in a warehouse or cold store environment.
Candidates should have proficiency in warehouse operations, quality control procedures, and ideally experience with warehouse management systems.
The position requires the ability to conduct quality checks, manage stock levels, and operate forklifts, although a forklift license is not mandatory.
The job is full-time, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm, and offers a temporary to permanent employment opportunity.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role is required, with a salary of approximately $35,000 per year.

As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for selecting and preparing orders for shipment in a warehouse environment / cold store.

Responsibilities

Utilise warehouse management systems to pick orders accurately
Conduct quality control checks on items before shipping
Manage stock levels and assist in inventory counts
Operate forklifts to load and unload goods (beneficial to have a FLT but not necessary)
Handle materials efficiently and safely while adhering to health and safety guidelines
Working within cold environment (PPE provided)

Skills

Proficient in warehouse operations including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving
Familiarity with quality control procedures
Experience with warehouse management systems is advantageous
Capable of heavy lifting as required
Skillful in materials handling techniques for efficient order fulfilment

Working hours: Monday to Friday 7am - 3:30pm
