A niche and reputable manufacturing company which produces specialist products for worldwide distribution is recruiting for a Dispatch & Warehouse Operative for a 12-month fixed term contract.

Working as part of a team, responsibilities will include -

  • Accurately select, pack and dispatch finished goods in accordance with the supervisor’s approval.
  • Completion of delivery labels and the printing of health & safety data sheets for deliveries, as required.
  • To accurately receive, store and track internal goods inwards.
  • Support and maintain accurate storage and stock rotation.
  • Movement of finished goods from manufacturing into the warehouse.
  • Communicate effectively with the Sales, Production and Dispatch / Warehouse Teams.
  • Maintain a tidy and safe working environment, adhering to warehouse measures and controls to include waste management.

Skills & experience required -

  • The ability to manually handle products up to 25kg, using good manual handling practice.
  • To be experienced in the use of lifting equipment: Reach (required) and Counterbalance (ideal, not essential). Licence can be re-taken if required.
  • Confident communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Able to follow instructions and perform tasks with consistent accuracy, as well as work with own initiative.
  • Basic computer skills to complete and print relevant documentation.
  • Comply with Health & Safety regulations at all times.
  • Maintain the security of company information.
