Coded Welders are needed for a fast-paced project in Birmingham, with both day and night shifts available.
The position requires candidates to have a CSCS card and recent weld codes in ISO and 138, along with previous heavy structural steel welding experience of up to 100mm plate.
The role offers a PAYE rate of £24.15 per hour for day shifts, increasing to £27.06 per hour with holiday pay for the first 40 hours, and £30.18 per hour for overtime and weekends.
Night shift rates start at £27.93 per hour, totaling £31.29 per hour with holiday pay for the first 40 hours, and £34.90 per hour for overtime and weekends.
This is an 18-month contract requiring candidates to have prior experience in heavy structural steel welding.

Duration: 18 Month Contract

Hours: 5x 10 hour shifts Monday to Friday | 1 x 8 hour shift Saturday

PAYE Rates:

Day Shift

1st 40 Hours M-F - 24.15 per hour + 2.91 holiday pay = 27.06 per hour

Over 40 Hours + Sat/Sun - 30.18 per hour + 3.63 holiday pay = 33.81 per hour

Lodge Allowance - 60.00 per day worked

Night Shift

1st 40 Hours M-F -27.93 per hour + 3.36 holiday pay = 31.29 per hour

Over 40 Hours + Sat/Sun - 34.90 per hour + 4.20 holiday pay = 39.10 per hour

Lodge Allowance - 60.00 per day worked

The Role:

Coded Welders required for a fast paced project based in Birmingham. All persons will be required to weld heavy structural steel plate (up to 100mm and 100% UT), using 136 and 138 Welding process.

Requirements:

CSCS card

Current or recent weld codes in ISO (Apply online only) & 138 - All Positions

Previous heavy structural steel welding experience - up to 100mm plate
