Fabricator / Welder

Permanent position

We are currently looking for an experienced and capable Fabricator / Welder for an established and expanding Engineering Group basednear Central Birmingham.

Experience required includes:

  • MIG and TIG welding in a variety of gauges
  • Welding experience of working to a high standard in Mild and Stainless steel
  • The ability to work accruatelyfrom CAD / fabrication drawings, written and verbal instructions
  • Initiative when working alone, and the abillty to work well as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility to carry out various projects simultaneously
  • Ability to routinely meet deadlines as required

Duties will include:

  • Working as part of a small fabrications team in good working conditions
  • MIG & TIG weldingbespoke products
  • Fabrication, using various metalworking equipment, hand and power tools
  • Working with Stainless & Mild steel as required and Aluminium on occasion
  • Reading and working from CAD Engineering drawings


Additional Information:

  • Working days (7:00am - 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday) &7:00am - 1:00pm on Fridays)
