Your Role:
As a key member of the maintenance and engineering team, you'll ensure equipment is always in top shape. Here's a snapshot of your responsibilities:
Rapid Response:Â Be the hero by providing mechanical and electrical breakdown cover.
Problem Solver: Use your PLC knowledge to quickly pinpoint and resolve faults.
Injection Moulding: Experience here? Great! If not, we're happy to train you.
Preventative Maintenance: Stay ahead by carrying out scheduled maintenance and logging all important data.
Versatile Repairs: Lead plant modifications, relocations, and re-installations to keep production running smoothly.
Safety First: Always operate within our health and safety guidelines.
The Ideal Candidate:
You are a driven, perhaps apprentice-trained professional with qualifications like Level 3 C&G, ONC, HNC, HND in mechanical or electrical fields. You thrive under pressure and are not only a problem-solver but also proactive in preventing issues before they arise. Here's what we're looking for:
PLC Expertise:Â Fault-finding knowledge is a plus.
Electrical Wiring Knowledge: 17th Edition standards or higher.
Hands-on Experience: Comfortable reading electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings.
Bonus Skills: Injection moulding, sensors, and vision systems experience would be great, but not essential.
Self-Starter: You can prioritize tasks and get the job done, even when the pressure's on.
