Plumber

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. The role requires proficiency in various plumbing techniques and the use of hand and power tools.

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
• Assemble and install water supply lines, waste disposal systems, and related appliances.
• Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify leaks or other issues.
• Perform heavy lifting as required for the installation of plumbing fixtures.
• Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete plumbing tasks.
• Weld pipes when necessary to ensure secure connections.
• Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople on construction projects.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Adhere to safety regulations and building codes at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
• Basic maths skills for measuring and calculating material requirements.
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is advantageous.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with plumbing work.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A valid driving licence is preferred.
