- Arrange, position, and secure components and assemblies as per specifications, utilizing a straight edge, combination square, callipers, and ruler.
- Assemble, tack, weld, and flatten various parts according to the dimensions and specifications outlined in engineering drawings.
- Select appropriate equipment and welding techniques based on an understanding of metallurgy, geometry, and welding methods.
- Create templates and other tools to assist in holding and aligning parts.
- Ensure the final products meet company standards and adhere to specified requirements.
- Consistently adhere to safe working practice
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in welding and fabrication.
- In-depth knowledge of welding techniques, with a strong focus on TIG welding.
- Mandatory experience working with stainless steel.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting welding symbols and specifications.
