We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electro-Fusion Welder to join a prominent project on a water treatment plant in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the successful completion of a major infrastructure project while working with a dedicated and experienced team.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality electro-fusion welding on HDPE and other plastic pipework for water treatment systems.
Ensure all welding is completed in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain and operate welding equipment to the highest standards.
Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure precise welds and fittings.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth running of the project.
Conduct quality control checks and resolve any issues that arise during welding.
Skills & Experience:
Valid Electro-Fusion Welding Certification (or equivalent).
Proven experience in electro-fusion welding, particularly within the water or utilities sector.
Experience with HDPE pipework in a live plant environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience working in water treatment plants is desirable but not essential.
Full PPE and relevant safety certifications required.
