Due to growth, investment and company expansion, a leading manufacturer has a new vacancy for a Despatch & Planning Administrator. Offering excellent career opportunities, you will carry out key administrative tasks, including data inputting, releasing job paperwork, raising purchase orders and despatch & shipping processing. Applicants are sought with a high level of computer literacy with an excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks.

The Role:

Assist in the coordination and management of planning & Despatch schedules and activities.

Maintain and update planning documentation and records.

Performing data entry duties.

Provide administrative support to the planning team, including preparing reports, presentations, and communications.

Raise Purchase orders.

Complete Shipping Documentation and upkeep of records.

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth processes.

Assist with data analysis and reporting to improve planning efficiency and accuracy.

The Person:

Strong organizational and administrative skills.

Must be computer literate and have a good working knowledge of MS Office.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge of planning procedures and regulations is desirable but not essential.

Previous experience in an administrative role is an advantage.

A knowledge of the manufacturing industry is preferred (not essential).

Must be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
