Maintenance Engineer – Leicester – £52,212 + Excellent Benefits
Healthcare | 7% Pension | Profit-Related Pay | Training & Career Progression

Shift Pattern:

  • Monday to Friday (1 weekday)
  • Sunday to Thursday (1 week of nights)
  • Friday to Sunday (10 days off)

The Role:
We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing machinery through both planned and reactive maintenance. You’ll be involved in breakdowns, fault finding, installation work, and improvement projects across a range of electrical and mechanical systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reactive & Planned Maintenance: Respond to breakdowns and carry out scheduled maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
  • Fault Finding: Diagnose and repair both electrical and mechanical faults quickly and efficiently.
  • Installation & Improvement: Be involved in machinery installations and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with a diverse and motivated engineering team to keep the plant running at optimum efficiency.

About You:
We are looking for an experienced, multiskilled Maintenance Engineer with:

  • A Level 3 qualification (NVQ, Apprenticeship or equivalent).
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
