Job Description:As an Experienced Fabricator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality heavy steel fabrications. This role requires a strong background in fabricating heavy materials, with a focus on precision and quality. Experience with balustrades and steel staircases is highly desirable. You will work within a team environment to ensure that projects are completed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate heavy steel components and structures according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately complete projects.
- Perform quality checks to ensure that all fabrications meet specifications and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and objectives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in heavy steel fabrication.
- Experience with fabricating balustrades and steel staircases is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Must have experience in heavy fabrications; sheet metal experience alone is not sufficient.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Hours:
- Full-time, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Thursday.
- Early finish on Fridays.
- Overtime is available but optional.
Rate of Pay:
- Depending on experience. Rate reviewed after 6 months.
Note:Only candidates with experience in heavy steel fabrication will be considered. Sheet metal experience alone is not suitable for this position.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 14.00-16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
