SRM are delighted to have partnered with a hospitality business, based in Bishop's Stortford, to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant on a 14-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance team by assisting with month-end reporting, financial reconciliations, cash flow management, and more. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take on more responsibility in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing Board packs for month-end, annual budgets, and quarterly forecasts.

Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.

Monitor and maintain weekly cash flow forecasts.

Manage prepayments, accruals, and depreciation.

Bank reconciliations.
-
Handle monthly inter-company recharges.

Produce and distribute weekly flash reports.

Assist with invoice processing.

Issue weekly and monthly reports to the Operations Team.

Assist the Financial Controller and Finance Manager with ad hoc tasks, reports, and the implementation of a new accounting system.
Requirements:

Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA.

Proficient in Xero
-
3+ years accounts experience
-
Previous experience within the retail or hospitality sector is desirable
