Our client is seeking a full-time Financial Controller to manage all aspects of the company's financial affairs and regulatory functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce timely financial information including budgets, cash forecasts, monthly accounts, and performance reports.
- Prepare monthly management packs with KPIs, budget vs. actual performance, and detailed project analysis.
- Monitor and manage business performance, ensuring compliance with statutory and tax regulations.
- Oversee project financial performance, cash flow forecasts, and P&L budgets.
- Take responsibility for financial transactions, invoicing, and ledgers.
- Assist with administrative functions and collaborate with external accountants on financial compliance.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with commercial experience.
- Strong IT skills - especially MS Excel - and experience with mainstream accounting software.
- Background in project-based businesses and multi-currency environments.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage at board level.
- Must be self-motivated and flexible to handle the dynamic nature of the business.
Additional Information:
- Own transport.
- Occasional travel may be required (quarterly).
