Calling all Management Accountants I have the most fantastic role working for an extremely reputable clients based in Bishops Stortford who during Covid trialled working 4 days a week, proved it worked and have continued this..

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients within the UK and the USA.
  • You will be able to professionally and credibly advise clients on accounts and payment queries
  • Full ownership of the month end accounts, including timely preparation of consolidated management accounts, production of the monthly reporting Pack
  • Completing VAT returns
  • Preparing and submitting payroll and expenses
  • Dealing with Balance Sheet Reconciliation including Accruals and prepayments
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
  • Investment Reporting
  • Lender Reporting
  • Assisting with Annual Audits
  • Ensuring UK and USA compliance is fulfilled per state requirements
  • Management of Workers Compensation
  • Conducting payment runs in line with cashflow requirements
  • Ad hoc analysis required by portfolio businesses
  • You will have a minimum of 2 years practice experience.
  • You will be personable, professional and able to engage people to build working relationships both internally and externally.
  • You will be a self-starter who is solution driven and pro-active.
  • You will enjoy working collaboratively.
  • You will hold Advanced MS Excel Skills with the ability to do XLookUps, Pivot Tables and more.
  • Experience with XERO
  • Exceptional attention to detail is key.
