We are seeking a VAT Accountant for a 12-month Fixed Term Contract role within the Manufacturing industry. This key position requires a detail-oriented professional who is adept at handling VAT-related matters across multiple European countries.

Description
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and related declarations
- Assist with VAT audits and provide VAT advisory support across the organisation
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of VAT legislation and practices
- Ensure VAT compliance in all business operations
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external advisors on VAT matters
- Support the Accounting & Finance department with other duties as required
Profile
A successful VAT Accountant should have:
- Accounting or tax qualification
- Proficiency in VAT legislation and practices
- European VAT experience
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
