Job Title: Part-Time Accounts Assistant - Permanent Opportunity!
Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for a part-time role? Are you motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to join a friendly and passionate team? Our client, a rapidly growing business located in Bishops Stortford, is seeking an enthusiastic Part-Time Accounts Assistant to support their Finance Manager in the day-to-day running of the accounts department.
At our client's organisation, you will enjoy a flexible work schedule, ideally Monday to Friday from 9am to 1pm. However, they are open to discussing alternative arrangements that suit your needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Allocating bank payments
- Chasing payments for outstanding invoices
- Sending monthly statements to customers
- Entering transactions onto Sage
- Matching invoices with delivery notes and purchase orders
- Assisting with the end-of-month pay run
- Resolving account queries and ensuring timely payments from customers
