This well established, fun loving and dynamic pharmaceutical company are searching for a Business Support Administrator.

You will most certainly be busy and learn lots of processes and gain business knowledge.

You will be meeting and greeting clients on reception and supporting the Business Manager.

There will be plenty of administrative tasks, including placing orders and bookings, travel arrangements, preparing meeting materials, ordering teas/coffees etc for the office and providing general administrative support to the wider team.

You need to be efficient, have an eye for detail, enthusiastic and have a great telephone voice and be an excellent communicator.

Liaising with external suppliers, completing regular inventory checks and updating records with a degree of diplomacy and adhering to company policies and compliance.

You will be the representative for first-aid and a fire-warden, training will be given, and generally being a helping hand.

  • Completing administrative tasks autonomously, including placing orders and bookings, including travel, within budgets, preparing meeting materials, office consumables re-ordering and re-stocking and providing general administrative support to the wider team.
  • Support with daily tasks to ensure the Business Support Team is running effectively and efficiently.
  • Managing reception duties including being a primary point of contact for deliveries and telephone calls into the office.
  • Providing good intra-office communication including sending out internal communications to the wider team.
  • Communicating with our external suppliers, such as cleaners, maintenance, deliveries, etc
  • Completing regular inventory and audit checks, and general administrative office procedures.
  • Updating and maintaining records accurately, sometimes of a confidential nature.
  • Ensuring compliance from colleagues to Company Policies regarding office working, and health and safety.
  • Escalating concerns and issues in a timely manner.
  • Being an Emergency first-aid at work representative and fire warden (training given).
  • Identify and support the development and implementation of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) improvements to the office.
  • Completing administrative tasks autonomously, including placing orders and bookings, including travel, within budgets, preparing meeting materials, office consumables re-ordering and re-stocking and providing general administrative support to the wider team.
