Are you an experienced Large Format Print Operator looking for your next challenge? Our client is seeking a skilled Production Operative to join their dynamic team in the large format print industry. This role offers you the chance to work with cutting-edge printing technology and contribute to a high-quality production environment.

About the Role:
As a Production Operative, you will play a crucial role in the operation of industry-leading printing and cutting equipment. Your expertise will ensure that we consistently deliver top-notch printed materials while maintaining efficiency and meeting tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate large format printing machines, including HP Latex, Colorado, Vutek, SwissQ, and Epson printers.
  • Utilise cutting equipment such as Summa, Zund, and Kongsberg to execute finishing tasks with precision.
  • Perform general print finishing tasks, including laying up vinyl and other print materials.
  • Maintain high-quality standards across all printed materials, ensuring consistency and excellence.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain printing and finishing equipment as necessary to minimise downtime.
  • Collaborate closely with the production team to optimise workflow and meet production deadlines.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience in large format printing and finishing processes.
  • Hands-on experience with HP Latex, Colorado, Vutek, SwissQ, Epson, and cutting machines such as Summa and Zund.
  • Strong understanding of print finishing techniques, including vinyl application.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
  • A proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving skills.
