About the Role:
As a Production Operative, you will play a crucial role in the operation of industry-leading printing and cutting equipment. Your expertise will ensure that we consistently deliver top-notch printed materials while maintaining efficiency and meeting tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate large format printing machines, including HP Latex, Colorado, Vutek, SwissQ, and Epson printers.
- Utilise cutting equipment such as Summa, Zund, and Kongsberg to execute finishing tasks with precision.
- Perform general print finishing tasks, including laying up vinyl and other print materials.
- Maintain high-quality standards across all printed materials, ensuring consistency and excellence.
- Troubleshoot and maintain printing and finishing equipment as necessary to minimise downtime.
- Collaborate closely with the production team to optimise workflow and meet production deadlines.
- Proven experience in large format printing and finishing processes.
- Hands-on experience with HP Latex, Colorado, Vutek, SwissQ, Epson, and cutting machines such as Summa and Zund.
- Strong understanding of print finishing techniques, including vinyl application.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
