Job Title: Platen Operator (Day Shift)

Location: Bishop Stortford,

Salary: £13 - £15 per hour

Shift: 5 days per week; 8.00am to 5.00pm (rotation)

Are you an experienced Platen Operator looking for an exciting new opportunity? Look no further! Our client, a leading visual communications specialist, is seeking a skilled Platen Operator to join their dynamic team.

About Our Client:

Our client a multi-channel marketing services company, providing innovative visual communications solutions to global brands.

As a Platen Operator, you will be responsible for the safe operation, setting, and running of platen machines. Your main tasks will include:

  • Reporting to the machine supervisor and receiving job allocation and paperwork
  • Checking for any issues and following quality control processes
  • Setting up jobs and performing random quality checks
  • Properly labelling and storing finished work
  • Logging job start and finish in the system
  • Communicating machine faults to the supervisor
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Experience operating Platen machines (ESSENTIAL)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • You must be committed to maintaining a safe working environment and adhere to all safety procedures and regulations.
