Join an award-winning research firm, based in London, in an exciting new role as a Business Development Executive. This position focuses on expanding the client base within the legal sector, specifically targeting law firms and related financial institutions. This role will be pivotal in identifying new business opportunities, managing partnership relationships, building strong relationships with legal professionals, and promoting our clients' services to the sector. You'll be working remotely covering North of the UK and reporting directly to the Head of Private Client Services, driving growth and building key partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research & Strategy: Conduct analysis to identify potential clients in the legal sector. Develop targeted strategies to engage prospects.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders within the legal industry. Attend events and networking functions to promote services and establish partnerships.
  • Sales & Business Development: Generate leads, convert them into long-term clients, and deliver presentations and webinars tailored to legal professionals.
  • Collaboration: Work with the research team to meet client needs and provide valuable feedback to refine service offerings.
  • Marketing Support: Assist the marketing team with creating promotional materials, case studies, and content to highlight expertise in the legal sector.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor business development activities, including lead generation and conversion rates, ensuring targets are met.

Personal Specification:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the legal or professional services sectors.
  • Strong understanding of legal processes, particularly in probate and estate management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and proven track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Desirable:

  • Experience in the probate genealogist industry.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot.
