Our client is a professional and privately owned Water Hygiene / Legionella management company with a national presence. They are now seeking to take on a hardworking and experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to cover Public and Private sector sites across the South East of England. The successful candidate will be well versed in carrying our various L8 compliance duties including water sampling, temperature monitoring, TMV servicing, and flushing of little used outlets in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. For the successful candidate, out client can offer enrolment onto the company pension scheme, company vehicle with paid door to door travel, excellent holiday allowance and competitive salary.


Consideration will be given to candidates from: Harlow, Cheshunt, Brentwood, Braintree, Saffron Walden, Chelmsford, Maldon, Basildon, St Albans, Hertford, Southend-on-Sea, Stevenage, Watford, Hemel Hempstead, Aylesbury, Luton.

Experience & Qualifications:
" Experience working for a reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella management company working hands on as a Water Hygiene Engineer is essential to the role.
" Will have up to date knowledge of relevant ACoP L8 / HSG 274 guidelines
" Good IT skills, able to update on site logbooks in line with findings.
" Organising workload in line with company and client requirements.
" Able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

The Role:
" Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines to carry out water sampling & temperature monitoring.
" TMV servicing & failsafe testing.
" CWST cleans and disinfections.
" Showerhead cleans and descales.
" Closed system sampling, analysis, and dosing with correct chemicals.
" Undertaking flushing of little used outlets.
" Updating onsite logbooks correctly upon completion of work.
