They are known for our caring culture, flexibility, and generous approach to employee welfare. Thy are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to join our dynamic team.Role Overview:As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site activities to ensure the project progresses according to plans and schedules. Your role will involve managing construction workers, liaising with clients and other professionals, maintaining quality control, and ensuring all tasks meet safety and regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the site operations, ensuring progress aligns with the project plan. Report any issues or potential delays promptly.Work closely with Estimators and the Procurement Department to manage resources, materials, and equipment.Ensure all installations and materials meet the project's scope and statutory regulations. Perform daily and weekly checks on all plant, machines, and tools.Liaise with sub-contractors and design/structural/surveying consultants to ensure all aspects of the project are covered.Identify and support the Site Supervisor, ensuring they can fulfil their responsibilities effectively.Communicate with clients, construction professionals, and occasionally the public to maintain transparency and manage expectations.Risk Management: Assess, identify, and minimize risks throughout the project.Ensure all operations adhere to safety, regulatory, and environmental standards, including airport-specific requirements.Compile and maintain project documentation, including Operation and Maintenance Manuals.Candidate Requirements:Experience: Proven experience in managing major projects, with a background in commercial fit-outs preferred.Trade Background: A trade background is essential, though the specific trade is flexible.Benefits:Competitive salary of £55,000 - £75,000 DOE.Company vehicle or van.Paid driving tests (if required).Standard pension scheme.24 days of holiday plus bank holidays.Flexibility in working hours, with consideration for additional days off outside the standard holiday allowance.Working Hours:Monday to Friday, typically 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, with the possibility of unsociable hours and weekends.Team Structure:The successful candidate will work alongside a team of approximately 10 internal staff members and various external subcontractors.Application Process:The interview process consists of two stages: an initial interview via Teams with Rebecca, followed by a second interview with the Operations Manager.
