Position: Electronic Assembly Technician

PAYE Rate: 12.10ph - 13.60ph - PAYE Rate

14.50ph - 15.00ph - Umbrella Rate

Location: Bishops Stortford

Hours: Monday - Thursday 08:00am - 16:30ph - Friday 08:00am - 13:30pm

Proactive are currently recruiting for multiple skilled Electronic Assemblers Operatives in Bishops Stortford to start work immediately.

This is a temp to perm position working for a market leader in the design and manufacture of high performance electronic equipment. You will be working as part of a wider team delivering projects to meet production targets.

Perform assembly, soldering and wiring of electronic products. To manufacture and assemble products according to Standard Operating Procedures, together with process documents, ensuring the same are adhered to.

Relevant Skills & Experience:

  • Soldering of electronic products.
  • Stripping cables and cutting to correct lengths.
  • Crimping cable ends.
  • Making up wiring looms.
  • Picking & packing of final products for dispatch.
  • Previous soldering experience essential.
  • Ability to operate electronics-related test equipment.
  • Ability to follow engineering diagrams.
