Our client is searching for a highly motivated Finance Manager to join this global organisation. It is an office- based role in Hertfordshire.
The Finance Manager will will report directly to the Financial Controller. You will be managing and building strong financial operations giving strategic support where possible.
You will need excellent organisation skils with a variety of process experience and capable of working cross-functionally on the planning and implementation of projects.
There is plenty of career progression within the team as this is a rapidly growing business, to potentially become a Line Manager.
Closing of the monthly accounts and supporting analyses and reconciliations.
Monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasting, assisting budget holders in tracking budgets and deliverables. Business partnering with the wider teams, to enable training and support to the management and project managers.
Implementing improvements in financial processes and systems, financial controls throughout the departments, raising invoices for purchase invoices, pay suppliers, and resolving queries.
Support annual group audit, working with external auditors, together with the preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns, ensuring compliance with VAT regulations.
R&D tax credit claims and other tax compliance, preparation of statutory accounts identification, implementation, and documentation of SOPs.
Company initiatives and projects, to support the development, expansion, and evolution of the company.
A CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification is essential with a minimum of three years of experience in an accounting practice or business analyst-related role.
Are you able to manage the completion of tasks to deadlines? Ability to review and interpreting financial information? Cope with challenges faced by a rapidly growing SME with organic growth and M&A.
Analysis using Excel or similar tools and of course exhibit exemplary organisational and time management skills with a high level of attention to detail?
Both verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English vital, computer literacy, and competency in MS Office programs.
