Are you an experienced Financial Planner looking for a rewarding servicing-focused role, with the opportunity to manage a substantial portfolio without the pressure to generate new business? We have an exciting opportunity with a well-established, award-winning independent wealth planning firm based near Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire.

Why This Role is Perfect for You:

  • Manage £35m AUM (150 existing clients) with assets ranging from £250k to £8m.
  • Servicing-focused role: No need to generate new business, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional service and providing tailored financial advice to existing clients.
  • Competitive salary: Up to £100k (negotiable), plus performance-based bonuses.
  • Support team: You’ll have full support from an experienced admin and paraplanning team to ensure you can focus on what matters most servicing your clients.
  • Work-life balance: Join a firm that places great emphasis on client satisfaction, fostering long-term relationships that often span over 10 years.

This independent IFA firm specialises in offering whole-of-market financial advice to HNW retirees, accumulators, local families, and SME owners across Sussex, Kent, and London. They have a strong community presence and are deeply committed to supporting good causes.

In this role, you will inherit a well-established book of business and manage a diverse portfolio across pensions, investments, tax planning, retirement planning, and more. The firm’s longstanding relationship with a solicitor practice ensures a steady flow of business and referrals, so you can concentrate on building lasting client relationships rather than new business development.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A background in independent wealth planning (Chartered status preferred, but not essential aspirations to work toward Chartered status are encouraged).
  • Experience with HNW clients, and knowledge of financial planning across a variety of areas, including pensions, investments, tax, and retirement planning.
  • Proficiency with platforms like Quilter, Transact, AJ Bell, and tools like Intelligent Office, Cashcal, or FE Analytics would be a plus.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional client service with a focus on long-term relationships rather than AUM targets.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to focus on client care and be part of a firm that’s highly respected in the industry, with strong growth and a loyal client base. You will join a firm that truly values quality advice and customer satisfaction.

If you’re an experienced financial planner looking for a servicing role that offers competitive compensation, support, and the chance to work with an established client base, we’d love to hear from you!
