Platen Operator
Location: Bishops Stortford
Salary: Depending on Platen Industry Experience - Up to 35k
Hours: 06.45 - 18.45 (on a rotating basis): Week 1: Monday Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday Week 2: Wednesday Thursday Friday
Company: Global leading organisation serving indoor, outdoor and online markets.
Role: Responsible for setting up and running platens to produce finished materials.
- Handling of large cutting forms and various types of materials
- Adhering to health and safety regulations
- Setting and operating platen machines
- Complete paperwork accurately
- Complete daily machine checks sheets and any faults are to be advised to your supervisor,
- Always follow the Quality Control process and perform random quality checks to ensure consistency,
- Take responsibility to report any issues or unsafe working practices and follow the correct procedures
Requirements:
- Experience operating hand fed platens up to 3 x 1.8
- Worked with all materials particularly in POS
- You will understand Health and Safety practices
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work on your own initiative
- Proven experience of working in a manufacturing surrounding
