With over a century of experience, this main contractoris a renowned regional leader in the construction market.Projects are varied and include schools, hospitals, pharmaceuticals, and industrial projects - up to 10-12 million in value but most frequently within the 3-5m range.

They are seeking a Preconstruction Manager to work alongside the Preconstruction Director. They are specifically looking for a PreconstructionManager to oversee management of the precon team inBids and Tenders(enablingthe Precon Director to focus primarily on Pricing and Estimates).

Responsibilities for the role will include:

• the development of bid-winning strategies and bid writing plans for quality led bids.
• Providing thePrecon Director with identification and sourcing of leads, generating high quality tender opportunities.
• Development of project plans, including scope, budget estimates, and schedules.
• Preparingand presentingreports, highlighting key milestones and progress updates, to thePre- Construction Director and clients,.
• Maintaining accurate records of all preconstruction activities for future reference and audits.

Theideal candidate must have a steady career history within the UK construction industry.

This is a 5 day a week, office based position.
