- Claims Processing: Assist in the initial intake and processing of claims, ensuring all necessary information is collected accurately and efficiently.
- Customer Communication: Act as a point of contact for policyholders, providing updates on claim status, answering inquiries, and guiding them through the claims process.
- Data Entry: Accurately input and update claims information into the system, ensuring all records are maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Documentation: Assist in gathering and reviewing necessary documentation from claimants, witnesses, and third parties to support claim investigations.
- Investigation Support: Support senior claims handlers in conducting investigations, including reviewing reports, assessing damages, and determining liability.
- Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training programmes to develop a thorough understanding of insurance policies, claims procedures, and relevant legal regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure claims are handled efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Reporting: Assist in preparing regular reports on claim status, trends, and issues for management review.
- Education: GCSEs in English and Maths are essential.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Previous experience in an office based customer service or administrative role is essential.

- Salary: £21,000 to £23,000 dependent upon experience + Bonus
- Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. This is a full-time office based role initially then once training is completed the role could be hybrid if required (up to 3 days remotely and 2 days in the office).
