Cure Talent is delighted to partner with a global leader in medical equipment manufacturing, supplying hospitals and healthcare providers. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team.

The successful Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the seamless transition of capital equipment from design to full production as part of New Product Development (NPD) projects. You will also be tasked with driving improvements in existing production models, maintaining quality, and ensuring efficiency within manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design transfer into production, ensuring accurate implementation of schematics, BOMs, and build instructions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful production preparation and equipment changes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external regulations.
  • Troubleshoot process issues and support continuous improvement initiatives within production.
  • Liaise with development teams to resolve design and supply chain issues.

To Be Successful:

  • A Masters Degree in Engineering or a relevant technical field, or time served equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in production within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills, with experience in LEAN methodologies.
  • New Product Development experience, from concept to production
  • Experience with CAD and familiarity with automated systems is advantageous.
