Cure Talent is thrilled to partner with a global leader in medical equipment manufacturing, serving hospitals and healthcare providers across the UK and worldwide. In response to ongoing growth, our client is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their dynamic team.

This exciting role focuses on ensuring the seamless transition of capital equipment from design to production as part of New Product Development (NPD) projects. You will also play a key role in driving continuous improvement across existing production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and enhancing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the design transfer process into production, ensuring the accurate implementation of schematics, BOMs, and build instructions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare for production launches and implement equipment modifications.
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external regulations.
  • Identify and resolve process challenges while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work closely with development teams to address design and supply chain issues effectively.

To Be Successful:

  • A qualification in Engineering or a relevant technical field, or time served equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in production within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills, with experience in LEAN methodologies.
  • New Product Development experience, from concept to production
  • Experience with CAD and familiarity with automated systems is advantageous.
