You'll work on bespoke engineering projects, represent the company at industry events, and benefit from excellent training, including sponsored IMechE membership.This role would suit a Mechanical Engineer looking for a technically diverse, remote-based role with career progression, training, and travel opportunities.The Role:
- Generating technical proposals and overseeing projects through to production.
- Client meetings to define technical specifications and project scope.
- Developing high-level designs of bespoke engineering systems.
- Collaborating with suppliers to generate costings and quotes.
- Using CRM systems to track progress and report to the sales team.
The Candidate:
- BEng in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an engineering role.
- Proficient with Excel, Word, and 2D CAD (AutoCAD).
- Strong interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
- Willingness to commute to Bishops Stortford during the first month for training.
