Account Manager Our lovely client is a well-established organisation providing account management support to Managing Agents that covers everything from finding lost meters to resident level billing and even Combined Heat & Power  generation.  The basic role is to review existing costs incurred through the use of gas and electricity for Landlord supplies on behalf of managing agents, to include invoice auditing, energy cost and consumption analysis and comparing this to alternative supply arrangements. Making proposals to change existing contracts and then implementing the change. The selected candidate would be expected to liaise with clients and suppliers, acting as an interface and ensuring that any queries and tasks are dealt with in a timely manner.  This role requires good organisational, numeracy, customer service, presentation, interpersonal, time management and communicational skills.  As an Energy Manager you will be required to manager your own portfolio of clients so someone with previous account management experience would be suitable.   Benefits:Our People are the driving force behind our success, which is why we offer a wide range of benefits which include:

The Role:
  • Job Location: Bishop Stortford
  • Hours Per Week: 8.30 am - 5.00 pm
  • Role Type: Permanent
  • Reporting to: Senior Energy Manager
Responsibilities:
  • Act as initial point of contact for new and existing clients, via telephone, post and email, ensuring all requirements are acted upon as a priority, with accurate information being provided at all times.
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations and resolve invoicing queries as necessary.
  • Provide quotations and reports to clients in a time bound manner.
  • Maintain records, communications and tasks relating to contract end dates and projects, ensuring renewal arrangements are completed in good time.
  • Arrange/request regular site visits and liaise with work colleagues and technical staff.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with all clients and suppliers, actively seeking to forge new partnerships at all times.
  • Maintain liaisons with all other departments in order to provide optimum understanding and co-operation.
  • Look for ways to reduce client costs for energy consumption.
  • Compile utility budgets and energy conversation measure costs.
  • Demonstrate behaviour that is professional, ethical and responsible, and serve as a role model for all colleagues and staff.
  • Pro-actively generate new clients at all times promoting the company’s mission, aims and ethos.
  • Get involved and participate in all company marketing plans and activities.
  • Take an active and informed role in all platforms set for discussion on product and business development.
  • Assist in day-to-day operations of the business including administration, sales and customer service
