We have an exciting opportunity to join a well-established talent solutions company based in bishops Stortford. The role initially will be learning how to successfully qualify candidates, with the potential down the line to become a 360 consultant. You will be working as part of a passionate and highly motivated team. Success is rewarded both financially with uncapped commission and annual incentives, this has included trips to Ibiza in previous years. Interested......?

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and targeting high quality candidates.
  • Qualifying candidates for open positions.
  • Sourcing and building long-term relationships with clients, understanding their requirements, and striving to meet them.
  • Mapping client markets to identify potential customers, engaging with those potential customers to understand who would benefit from our services.
  • Managing candidates efficiently through the recruitment process, preparing for interview, and taking feedback afterwards.
  • Managing the overall interview process.
  • Facilitating the offer process by extending the offer and negotiating employment terms.
  • Ensuring all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations.

Effective recruiters have high level communication skills, they are able to interact and influence people positively, with a high standard of emotional intelligence. This skill in itself is often enough to have a successful career, and leads to having deep, long lasting professional relationships.

  • To be a successful salesperson, a high degree of organisational and administration skills are needed.
  • Must be trainable, want to learn and improve, and be incentivised by helping people.
  • Must be able to work well with others both in the business, and through the course of their work.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient in basic IT / web-based technology systems, we have some amazing technology we use to automate some of our tasks, making our workload easier to track and manage.
  • Must be able to use initiative.
  • Even after years of working in the recruitment industry, candidates will occasionally ask questions on the phone for which you don’t know the answer. Therefore, the ability to think on your feet is a must.
