Assistant Accounts Manager - The Role:

Our family business has served the local community for over 130 years. We are looking for candidates who would like to be a part of a great team, help families and make a difference to people's lives.

This role would suit a candidate with strong computer skills in MS Office, Sage Line 50, Sage Payroll and databases. Also, with administrative experience in monitoring company telephone systems and IT systems.

The successful candidate must have a good work ethic, a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Assistant Accounts Manager - What we need from you:

The successful candidate will manage and oversee the daily operations of the Accounts Team including, but not limited to:

Month and year-end processes
Accounts Payable/Receivable
General Ledger
Payroll
Budgeting
Cash Forecasting
Fixed Asset Activity
Debt Activity
Assist with annual audits
VAT returns

Qualifications & Experience: The position would ideally suit a candidate who is a part-qualified accountant, or willing to study for professional qualifications, with previous working experience as an Assistant Manager or another supervisory role.
