The position also requires in-depth knowledge of purchasing principles, sourcing strategies, and proficiency in inventory management and ERP systems.
The successful candidate will manage and mentor a team while fostering a culture of performance and collaboration.

This is a hybrid Head of Procurement opportunity working from the office 2-3 days per week and from home at other times. In addition to salary, you will also receive a bonus of up to 30%.As Head of Procurement you will:

Lead the company’s efforts in driving cost-effective and efficient purchasing practices while ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory standards
Drive the development of an Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy that supports the company’s commitment to sustainability and ethical practices.
Lead the sourcing, selection, and negotiation processes with vendors, suppliers, and partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality facilities, goods, and services.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and facilities management, focusing on cost efficiency while managing and mitigating risks effectively.
Manage, mentor, and develop the team, fostering a culture of performance, collaboration, and professional growth.

We are keen to speak to people about this Head of Procurement opportunity who have the following skills and experience:

Have worked in a buying, purchasing role with experience procuring in China.
Diploma in Chartered Institute of procurement and Supply (MCIPS of FCIPS).
In-depth understanding of purchasing principles, sourcing strategies, and contract negotiation.
Proficiency in inventory management software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and procurement tools.
