  • The position offers a basic salary of £31,500 with an on-target earnings (OTE) of £34-35k.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years' experience in the industry, working on both basic and complex small to medium repairs.
  • Applicants should be apprentice-trained and qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanical, Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
  • Good IT skills and a valid clean UK Driving Licence are also required for this role.

Bodyshop Smart Repair Technician / Alloy Wheel Technician

£31,500 Basic £34-35k OTE 
Monday – Friday

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • To examine vehicles to identify additional work for repair, liaising with the Service Manager to obtain permission to proceed
  • To carry out wheel refurbishments
  • To carry out cosmetic paint repairs
  • To carry out seat fabric repairs
  • To carry out minor dent removals
  • To clearly document all work performed ensuring that times are recorded accurately and within agreed timeframes
  • To take care of vehicles whilst being worked on
  • To adhere to health and safety requirements and maintain a tidy workstation

Your Background & Skill:

  • You will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in the industry, working on basic and complex small to medium repairs
  • You must be apprentice-trained and qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanical, Maintenance & Repair or NVQ equivalent. You will ideally have at least two years’ experience of working in a franchised dealership since completing your apprenticeship
  • You will have good IT skills including the ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel to an intermediate level 
  • You will have a valid clean UK Driving Licence
