Duties:
- Supervise the creation of working drawings and detailed information to ensure they are accurate, complete, and delivered on time.
- Facilitate and manage Design Team Meetings early in the development process, engaging relevant consultants.
- Develop practical and cost-effective design solutions.
- Offer technical guidance throughout the stages of land acquisition, planning, construction, and post-construction.
- Analyse planning documents to ensure they meet Building Regulation standards.
- Coordinate with consultants to distribute drawing information and set deadlines to align with procurement needs.
- Finalise agreements on programs, detail packages, and superstructures prior to their release.
- Verify that architectural and engineering drawings are consistent and communicate design changes as minor amendments to the Planning Department.
- Secure NHBC approval efficiently and address any conditions to avoid project delays.
