If you are looking for a new role within Credit Control/Sales Ledger, this could be the perfect position for you. We are working closely with a Bishop Auckland based business that are seeking a proactive and experienced credit controller.
Duties will include:
- Discussing account queries with customers
- Maintaining excellent debt chasing
- Liaising with internal staff to ensure smooth running of the sales ledger
- Uploading and checking sales invoices in a timely manner
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Providing holiday cover for other accounts team members
Knowledge of Sage Line 50 Accounts, credit control and sales ledger is desirable.

- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
- Pro-active, asking relevant questions and working on your own initiative
- Punctual and able to work well within a team
- Able to manage and prioritise commitments and tasks to achieve deadlines
- A good team player capable of flexibility
- You must be a confident and effective communicator and have a proven track record of credit control/sales ledger
Holidays start at 21 days, plus Bank Holidays. Their standard office hours are 8am - 4.30pm (Monday - Thursday), with a 3.30pm finish on a Friday, and they do offer flexibility around these hours for the right person. Reduced hours no less than 30 hours can be considered.
