Sonic Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced data cabling engineer with a strong background in various cabling and hardware products.
The position is a three-month contract that may lead to a permanent role for the right candidate.
Candidates should have a minimum of three years of relevant experience and a salary of £30,000 to £35,000 per year.
Key responsibilities include onsite installation of data cabling, providing customer support, and collaborating with contractors.
Essential qualifications include an Enhanced DBS, IPAF/PASMA certification, ECS, and a full UK Driving Licence.

Our client is looking for an experienced data cabling engineer who has worked on a wide range of cabling and hardware products. A three-month contract which could go to permanent for the right candidate.

Job description:

Travelling across the North East.
Work involves visiting various schools
An understanding and appreciation of health and safety practices
Onsite installation of data cabling project and associated hardware
Providing excellent customer service and support
The ability to work alone and as part of a team
Working collaboratively with contractors on site where necessary
Basic knowledge of networking equipment including switches and WiFi access points
Installation, termination and testing of copper cabling
Fibre optic cabling
Cabling containment

Personal Specification:

Enhanced DBS is essential
IPAF/ PASMA certified is essential
ECS is essential
Full UK Driving Licence
Experience of installation, termination and testing of copper cabling
Experience of installation, termination and testing of fibre optic cabling
Experience of installation of cabling containment solutions
Experienced at the correct and safe use of power tools
