Caretaker

School CaretakerDates: To start as soon as possibleHours: 7am - 101m and 3 - 6pmReed Education are delighted to be supporting a primary school in Durham to provide them with a School Caretaker to join their team on a temporary basis. This could become a permanent role for the right candidate.Day to Day of the role:*Maintaining the security of the school building and grounds*Performing basic repairs and maintenance on the building and equipment*Ensuring that health and safety regulations are upheld*Managing the school’s key and alarm systems*Supervising the set-up and breakdown of equipment for events and activities*Coordinating with outside contractors for larger repairs and maintenance projects

What we’re looking for:*Experience in a similar role in education is preferred but not essential*A highly motivated individual with strong communication and organisational skills

*Someone who can work independently, and collaboratively with others*An enhanced DBS on the update service is required for this role (we can support applicants with a check if necessary)
